Pilates for Pregnancy

This program is designed by physiotherapist Shani Clark, whose specialist studies in Women’s Health, Pregnancy, Post Natal Pilates and Pelvic Floor strength make it the perfect program for pregnant and postpartum members.

** Reformer Pilates is a safe and effective and recommended form of exercise for pre and post pregnant participants, however it is always important to check with your doctor to ensure there are no contraindications specific to your situation.

Pilates and Pregnant

A safe and effective class for pre and post pregnant participants. Emphasis on pelvic control and stability, core strength and overall total body conditioning. Class considers factors such as moderating heart rate, reducing discomfort from prolonged lying positions and ease of exercise as size and balance are compromised. This class is also an effective class when returning to exercise postpartum.
