Did you know?

Enjoyment plays a direct role in habit formation.

From a behavioural perspective, the brain is more likely to repeat actions that feel rewarding — not just ones that are “good for you”.

Flavour, texture and variety all contribute to that reward response, which is why meals like this are more likely to become part of your routine over time.

Which is a very scientific way of saying: make the food you actually want to eat.

Ingredients

  • 500g beef mince
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 small brown onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp fresh oregano (or 1 tsp dried)
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper

Watch the full step-by-step below.

Method

  1. Add onion and garlic to the Nutribullet Triple Prep System food processor and pulse until finely chopped. Add remaining ingredients and pulse until just combined. Alternatively, finely chop onion and garlic by hand, then add all ingredients to a bowl and mix until just combined.
  2. Roll into meatballs.
  3. Cook in the Nutribullet CrispLite Vision Air Fryer until browned, cooked through and slightly crisp on the outside. Alternatively, cook in a pan with a little oil over medium heat, or in the oven.

To serve:

Serve with potatoes, a Greek salad, or in a wrap with yoghurt or tzatziki.

A solid way to make mince feel like more.
